Mandela Day ignites a passion to take action in Argentina
The Aspen Argentina team proudly participated in Mandela Day for the first time in 2021.
We supported a social dinner hosted by Merendero Bichito de Luz, which is based in Buenos Aires and was established 18 years ago. This Foundation provides a support network, food, clothing, and other forms of relief to destitute citizens.
Employees and Aspen Argentina contributed to the Foundation by donating non-perishable food and cleaning supplies to bolster nutrition and improved hygiene habits during the pandemic.
Due to strict COVID-19 protocols, we packed relief kits for Merendero Bichito de Luz who were able to prepare foods rations for the social dinner and deliver cleaning supplies and food parcels to those family who are not able to cook at home.
This year our employees experienced the true essence of Mandela Day, and it ignited a passion in us to play a larger role in this annual campaign and to embrace a richer culture of taking action every day to help build for a better society.
