Medical treatment for 23 children

This year, we commemorated Nelson Mandela's Centenary by supporting the Hogar Esperanza Foundation, which shelters and promotes healthcare to children, newborns and toddlers up to 5 years old. This Foundation repeatedly needs medicines for particularly diseases such as cancer, epilepsy and treatments for growth complications.

In order to support the medical treatment of 23 children, a raffle was arranged for participants to stand a chance to win home appliances. Our goal was to raise enough money to support monthly medical treatments for each child.

Aspen Chile’s employees were organized into teams, supported by some leaders who encouraged participation thereby demonstrating that teamwork is the most effective strategy in achieving a goal. Working together, we exceeded our target and raised some US$ 700 for Hogar Esperanza.
