El Salvador

This powerful moment also marks Aspen’s 15th year supporting the global Mandela Day initiative, reinforcing our commitment to making a meaningful difference.

This year’s theme centered on volunteerism and community impact, with diverse activities focused on local needs. From environmental efforts to heartfelt visits, our teams brought hope and joy to vulnerable populations.

Centro de Atención a Ancianos Sara Zaldívar was selected by our El Salvador team as their Mandela Day beneficiary for 2025. This nursing home provides comprehensive care and residence to some 150 older adults, and it aims to increase longevity through activities and a lifestyle that encourages quality end of life years. The Home, located in San Salvador, also promotes family and community engagement and values support as many of the elderly residents have limited or no contact with their loved ones. Our Aspen volunteers spent quality time with the seniors, provided them with essential supplies and shared a meal and good music with them.

Aspen Caricam’s initiatives in El Salvador reflect the spirit of Nelson Mandela, reminding us that each act of kindness contributes to a more just and compassionate world.

We are deeply proud of every Aspen Caricam employee who gave their time, energy, and heart. Each of them is an agent of change, proudly inspired by Mandela’s legacy.
