Honduras

This powerful moment also marks Aspen’s 15th year supporting the global Mandela Day initiative, reinforcing our commitment to making a meaningful difference.

This year’s theme centered on volunteerism and community impact, with diverse activities focused on local needs. From environmental efforts to heartfelt visits, our teams brought hope and joy to vulnerable populations.

Our small team from Honduras raised their hands and volunteered to support the environmental activities required for the efficient functioning of Parque Naciones Unidas Cerro de El Picacho. Located just outside Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, El Picacho Park was built between 1993 and 1946 with construction halted during that time due to the Second World War. The park officially opened in 1946 as a family-friendly facility that is run by the National Parks Foundation.

Aspen Caricam’s activity in Honduras reflects the spirit of Nelson Mandela, reminding us that each act of kindness contributes to a more just and compassionate world.

We are deeply proud of every Aspen Caricam employee who gave their time, energy, and heart. Each of them is an agent of change, proudly inspired by Mandela’s legacy.
