Aspen Caricam unites across borders

On 18 July 2025 nearly 50 volunteers from Aspen Caricam proudly celebrated Mandela Day with a historic milestone: active participation from all seven countries in the region for the first time in our 10-year history.

This powerful moment also marks Aspen’s 15th year supporting the global Mandela Day initiative, reinforcing our commitment to making a meaningful difference.

This year’s theme centered on volunteerism and community impact, with diverse activities focused on local needs. From environmental efforts to heartfelt visits, our teams brought hope and joy to vulnerable populations.

In Nicaragua we partnered with Centro Escolar Verbo Divino a catholic school which was established in 1950 in Managua. As part of our Mandela Day activities, we supported more than 160 children from low-income families with much needed donations of stationery supplies. We also hosted fun-filled activities for the students throughout the day and shared a delicious lunch and treats with them.

These initiatives reflect the spirit of Nelson Mandela, reminding us that each act of kindness contributes to a more just and compassionate world.

We are deeply proud of every Aspen Caricam employee who gave their time, energy, and heart. Each of them is an agent of change, proudly inspired by Mandela’s legacy.
