Kama first engaged the school in July 2024, and this year’s activity built on the foundation of that partnership. By sustaining their commitment, Kama aims to contribute to long-term educational development in the community.

This year, Kama’s project focused on the refurbishment of a one-unit classroom block that accommodates 31 kindergarten pupils aged four to six years. A group of 15 Kama employees participated, demonstrating the company’s values of care and responsibility through active service.

The refurbishment work included re-roofing, painting, and the repair of windows and doors to provide a safe and conducive learning environment. Beyond the physical upgrades, Kama volunteers distributed books, crayons, and chocolates to the pupils, adding joy to the learning experience.

“Seeing the completion of this project is a testament that when we come together, change happens,” said Kwaku Offe, Manager, Human Resources.

The school’s leadership expressed gratitude for Kama’s support. “Giving to the less privileged in society has a positive impact on the future of the children,” said Madam Ayi Attah, Headmistress.

This initiative not only improved learning infrastructure but also strengthened relationships between Kama employees and the community. It reflected the true spirit of Mandela Day, which encourages people to make a difference through collective action.

By investing in education, Kama Industries Limited continues to demonstrate its commitment to leaving a legacy and shaping brighter futures for children in Ghana.
