Collecting food for the hungry and serving summer camp patients

Hunger doesn’t take a holiday and this year Aspen España once again collaborated with Food Bank which collects and redistributes food to people in need. Some 422kg of non-perishable food was collected and donated by Aspen and several vendors and partners.

Aspen España also supported the Federación ASEM that cares for patients affected by neuromuscular pathologies and rare diseases. ASEM hosts a unique summer camp that is fully adapted to the children affected by these disorders. On 12 July the Spanish team helped with several activities such as swimming pool duty and canteen support and also donated Mandela Day T-shirts for the camp.

Our 67-minutes of dedication, per Madiba’s mandate, has been an incredible source of humility, inspiration and learning for the 28 volunteers from the children attending the camp who live life in harmony and serenity. A lesson for all of us about priorities in life.
