Spending quality time with Dubai’s elderly

In support of Mandela Day 2023, Aspen Healthcare’s team in Dubai visited elderly residents at the local Seniors’ Happiness Centre.

The Centre provides comprehensive 24-hour quality care to some 20 residence patience and 300 visiting elders of the Emirate. The services offered include medical, nursing, social, rehabilitation, nutritional, cultural and recreational care as well as guiding families where necessary.

Volunteers from Aspen spent a morning at the Seniors’ Happiness Centre where they supported the staff with routine tasks. The elderly residents were, however, their focus for the day, and Aspen employees enjoyed sharing quality time with them listening to their life stories, gleaning valuable advice and being entertained to music together.
