Generosity, empathy and care for Mexico’s elderly
Aspen Mexico's employees have proudly participated in Mandela Day since 2012 and we are committed to continuing our support of this highly regarded initiative
Since 2012, Aspen Mexico has proudly participated in Nelson Mandela International Day.
In 2021 we selected the Asociación Hogar Marillac, A.C. (Marillac Home Association) as our beneficiary. This facility provides support to elderly citizens who live in the Home where their specific needs are carefully attended to.
In an unpretentious ceremony held on 16 July 2021, we handed over a donation of approximately US$15 000 to fund some of the important projects at Hogar Marillac. Our contribution to this worthy cause also included nearly 600 items that were collected and donated by our employees. These included non-perishable food items, cleaning products, as well as 70 blankets that the residents were overjoyed to receive.
The team from our manufacturing site in Vallejo also donated 20 pieces of furniture including tables, chairs, benches and a 50” screen, among others, to facilitate activities and provide enjoyment to the aged residents at the Home.
Once again, Aspen Mexico's employees displayed a humble spirit of generosity, empathy and support for the benefit of those who need it most.
