Adopting wolf pack traits to preserve the environment

Aspen Costa Rica continued its active partnership with San José’s Green Wolf CR, a non-profit organisation that addresses environmental changes and challenges and initiates critical interventions to preserve life.

In 2024 more than 45 volunteers from Aspen’s office participated in reforestation activities including planting trees, soil preparation and maintenance of previously planted trees in La Loma Hatillo.

Green Wolf Costa Rica is a comprehensive, inclusive and sustainable movement that focuses on the socio-ecosystemic recovery of the country through intersectoral alliances and environmental activities that include reforestation and cleaning of rivers and mountains.

Importantly, Green Wolf volunteers identify themselves with wolf packs which is symbolic of a strong and supportive effort to end an era of pollution.
