Improving the environment for educational development
Aspen’s Colombia, which forms part of the Group’s Andean Region, carried out a sustainable development initiative, playing an active role in the transformation of the Manuel Elkin Patarroyo School in Bogotá.
Globally, Aspen is known for its empathy, solidarity, responsibility, and dedication to improving the well-being and quality of life for vulnerable communities. The objective of this activity was to make a positive social and environmental impact, particularly benefiting over 1 000 children attending this school through a facility improvement day that included painting play areas and common spaces to support their educational development.
Twenty volunteers from Aspen Colombiana participated in the improvement initiative reinforce the concept that small actions can contribute to significant changes, address some of the needs of these communities, and empower employees to actively contribute to societal improvement. The goal was to create a healthier and more interactive environment for the students at the institution.
