Protecting the marine ecosystem in Playa de Gringo
At Aspen Caricam, we believe that purpose is measured by the impact we create in the communities we serve. This Mandela Day, all employees came together across seven countries to transform compassion into action, demonstrating that even the smallest acts of service can leave a lasting impact.
A small team of four Aspen volunteers from the Dominican Republic's office once again participated in an eco-volunteer programme in partnership with the Municipality of Haina at Playa de Gringo to clean up the beaches in the province of San Cristóbal.
Pollution strewn across the coastline has devastating environmental and social impacts. The litter was efficiently cleared away by these volunteers who are committed to contributing towards protecting the marine ecosystem and keeping the beach beautifully clean.
