Kama helps build brighter futures at Odumase Basic 1 School
For Mandela Day 2026, employees of Kama Industries Limited (“Kama”) turned their focus to creating a more comfortable and conducive learning environment for young pupils at Odumase Basic 1 School.
Building on the refurbishment of the school’s KG Block last year, five Kama employees came together to tile a classroom that serves 31 pupils between the ages of four and six, supported by two teachers. The initiative reflects Kama’s values of care and responsibility, brought to life through meaningful community service.
Kama has been supporting Odumase Basic 1 School since July 2024. This year’s Mandela Day initiative was aimed at taking another step towards upgrading the classroom and creating a space where pupils can feel comfortable, focused and encouraged to learn.
“We believe that a good environment is a catalyst to good learning and building future leaders,”
Kwaku Offe, Manager – Human Resources.
The school’s leadership expressed its appreciation for Kama’s continued support and the positive difference it is making for learners.
“Because of Kama’s kindness, our learners feel more comfortable and this is positively contributing towards teaching and learning so that they can reach their goals and build a brighter future,” said Ayi Attah, Headmistress.
