Classroom improvements for Odumase’s young students

Established in 1994, the school has a student population of 486. The kindergarten class was earmarked for Kama’s 2024 Mandela Day campaign. Their efforts focus on improving conditions for 31 children who have to abandon their classes and studies whenever it rains. This is due to the structure being incomplete and facilities being run down, which impacts their tuition and development at the school.
A quarterly approach to improvements of the kindergarten class was adopted by Kama, with the project comprising block works, carpentry, repairs to windows and painting the classroom. The project, which is earmarked for completion at the end of FY2024, is progressing well and will be showcased once it is finalised.
