At Aspen Caricam, we believe that purpose is measured by the impact we create in the communities we serve. This Mandela Day, all employees came together across seven countries to transform compassion into action, demonstrating that even the smallest acts of service can leave a lasting impact.
Hogar de Niñas San José located in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, is a Catholic-based orphanage to some 60 vulnerable girls and adolescents who are physically or mentally challenged.
This home focuses on ensuring that their residents receive the care, protection, education, and development that they so richly deserve. They all come from vulnerable social situations, so seldom receive visitors but thrive on any act of kindness shown to them.
Aspen's volunteers from Honduras ensured that they were spoilt on Mandela Day by spending quality time with they young residents and sharing wonderful treats with them on the day.
