Reaching out to special needs children and hard-working men

Approximately 250 beneficiaries were touched by the kindness of the Aspen Health Care team who supported two Dubai-based organisations for Mandela Day.

The Special Needs Future Development centre cares for some 50 children between the ages of four and 10 years. Aspen’s volunteers spent the day with these young ones hosting activities themed about love, care, peace and the earth. They enjoyed the arts and crafts session as well as playing games together with their visitors.

As in previous years, kindness was also extended to some 200 men who live in the local labour camps, far removed from the loved ones who they are striving to support . Aspen’s generous employees donated food parcels, clothing and personal hygiene items which were gratefully received by these hard working men.
