TFCF’s children experience an acquatic wonderland
The Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (“TFCF”), which cares for children aged from 9 to 12, received Aspen Taiwan’s support for the eighth consecutive year.
TFCF’s 24 children were accompanied by 21 employees from Aspen Taiwan for an exceptional visit to the Xpark Aquarium.
Xpark has been operating for more that 30 years and remains Taiwan’s first technologically-advanced urban aquatic park. It has in excess of 30 000 aquatic and terrestrial animals from 300 different species. The Park strives to create the best environment for the species that live in different places on the earth by recreating temperatures, humidity, aroma and sound that mimics different living environments.
The 360-degree panoramic immersive experience was exceptional as it created a feeling of virtually being in the natural environment with the creatures.
The children were educated on environmental protection, the important role that the ocean plays in the global eco-system as well as the impact created by the change in tides.
